Senior iOS Engineer

Founded in 2017, HALA is currently duly licensed by the Saudi Arabian Central Bank as well as the Financials Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) in Abu Dhabi Global Market.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and optimization.
• Work with external data sources, APIs, and third-party libraries.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Drive best practices in coding, testing, and architecture to build scalable and maintainable software.
• Mentor and guide junior developers to elevate the team’s technical capabilities.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in iOS development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift.
• Deep understanding of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI, and Combine.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of MVVM, and other architectural patterns.
• Familiarity with dependency managers like CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager.
• Experience integrating third-party SDKs and libraries.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
• Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and test-driven development (TDD).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
