Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and report on internal audit engagements in accordance with approved audit plans and professional standards.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
- Identify control gaps and recommend practical solutions to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements (including those set by the Capital Market Authority), and best practices.
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports for management, including findings and actionable recommendations.
- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during reviews and inspections.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and auditing methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably within the financial or investment sector.
- Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, risk assessment techniques, and audit standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently.
- High level of integrity, objectivity, and professional skepticism.
- CME-1 / CME-2 / CME-3 certification
- SOCPA certification
