Senior Interior Design Manager (Sports & Hospitality) (SPA137)

Qiddiya Investment Company is leading the development of an iconic entertainment and cultural destination, and we are looking for a Senior Interior Design Manager specialized in Sports & Hospitality to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative and captivating interior designs that enhance the overall experience for guests in our sports venues.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of hospitality design standards, sports environments, and guest expectations, ensuring that all interior spaces reflect the Qiddiya vision. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to bring extraordinary and functional designs to life.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of interior design strategies for all of our sports assets (Arenas, Stadiums, Golf Courses etc)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce cohesive designs that align with functional requirements and branding objectives
• Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and design packages to stakeholders and senior management
• Review and refine design concepts, ensuring adherence to industry trends, codes, and best practices
• Manage relationships with interior design consultants and contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery of interior finishes
• Oversee the selection of materials, furnishings, and fixtures that align with brand standards and sustainability efforts
• Ensure that all designs enhance guest comfort, accessibility, and overall enjoyment
• Conduct quality control checks of materials and finishes during construction and implementation phases
• Mentor junior design staff, fostering a collaborative and creative environment that promotes professional growth
• Stay current with trends in hospitality and sports design, integrating innovative solutions into the design process
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• 9-12 years of professional interior design experience, with a focus on sports and hospitality projects
• A strong portfolio showcasing successful projects with creative and functional design solutions
• In-depth knowledge of design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to influence design decisions and drive projects towards successful outcomes
• Knowledge of sustainable practices in interior design and a commitment to incorporating eco-friendly solutions
• Creativity and innovation with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
