The Project

This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Review facade design packages, drawings, specs, and calculations for compliance.
• Assess constructability, maintainability, and performance of various facade systems.
• Evaluate thermal, acoustic, structural, fire, and weatherproofing criteria.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, MEP, and FLS teams for integrated design.
• Oversee material selection, mock-ups, testing, and inspections for system validation.
• Identify design risks and implement mitigation strategies per EXPRO standards.
• Specialize in stadium facades with complex geometries and interdisciplinary needs.
• Expert in tensile fabric systems for large-scale sports venues.
• Proficient in façade-to-structure connections and movement tolerances.
• Skilled in dynamic load analysis and stadium-specific challenges.
• Apply performance-based design aligned with global standards.
• Integrate façade systems with crowd flow and environmental control.
• Evaluate advanced glazing, demountable, and temporary solutions.
• Review FEM models, wind tunnel reports, and structural analysis.
• Align material choices with sustainability, safety, and lifecycle efficiency.
  
  

You’ll Need To Have

• Degree-qualified in civil, structural, façade, or architectural engineering, with professional body membership and extensive years of industry experience.
• Expert in façade structural design, with deep knowledge of local/international codes (SBC, ASTM, EN, BS), stadium design standards, and dynamic load considerations.
• Proficient in design and analysis tools including AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, BIM platforms, and façade-specific software, with proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments.
