Position Overview:

As Qiddiya Investment Company continues to redefine entertainment and leisure in Saudi Arabia, we are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Executive Director of Finance - Reporting & Budgeting. This pivotal role will lead our financial reporting and budgeting processes, ensuring that our financial strategies align with our ambitious growth plans and operational goals.

The Senior Executive Director will oversee the entire lifecycle of financial budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory standards. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership and various departments to drive financial performance and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and presentation of timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
  • Budgeting Processes: Direct the annual budgeting process and oversee the continuous forecasting practices to align financial resources with strategic business objectives
  • Variance Analysis: Analyze financial results and variances against the budget, providing insights and recommendations for improvement to executive leadership
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, while proactively identifying and mitigating financial risks
  • Strategic Financial Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial plans that support the achievement of the company's goals and objectives
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with different business units to ensure financial alignment and support operational needs through effective financial management practices
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement


Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in finance, reporting, and budgeting, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of financial planning, reporting standards, and budget management. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams and drive strategic financial initiatives across an organization
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record in financial analysis and strategic decision-making
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to diverse audiences
  • Strategic Vision: Strong strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to align financial practices with the broader organizational goals
  • Results Orientation: A strong focus on results and the ability to execute financial strategies effectively
