Senior Estimator

The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in the interior and fitout industry, with a proven track record of accurately estimating project costs, managing budgets, and collaborating with various stakeholders. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success of our projects while contributing to the overall growth of the organization. Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior and fitout projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs. - Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop accurate estimates. - Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for cost estimation. - Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather additional data for accurate estimating. - Manage and update the cost database to ensure the accuracy of pricing information. - Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers, and make recommendations based on cost-effectiveness and quality. - Prepare and present detailed proposals and cost breakdowns to clients and stakeholders. - Monitor project budgets and expenditures, providing regular updates and forecasts to project management. - Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost-related decisions and strategies. - Stay current with industry trends, materials, and best practices to improve estimating processes and accuracy. - Mentor and train junior estimators and support their professional development within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating within the interior and fitout industry. - Proven track record of preparing accurate estimates for diverse projects, including commercial and residential fitouts. - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost drivers specific to the interior and fitout sector. - Proficient in using estimating software and tools, as well as Microsoft Excel for data analysis. - Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation. - Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
