Job Description Summary

The Senior Environmental Health Inspector performs inspections in the housekeeping, landscaping, food service, portage, pest control, furniture areas and does periodic rounds in JHAH to make recommendations to improve the work quality

• Develop monitor and implement environmental strategies
• Participate in the budget planning for the department and JHAH
• Plan and implement division projects

Operational Roles & Responsibilities %

Operational Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the team leader to inspect and evaluate the physical conditions of the interior and exterior in complaints with health and safety regulations
• Initiates action for necessary maintenance repairs and followsup until completion for facilities related issues
• Attend and complete all work location related trainings and drills
• Inspects and assures that the housekeeping supplies materials and mechanized equipment are utilized in an appropriate and safe manner
• Performs or provide guidance on specialized spill cleaning procedures
• Provide full supervision for the housekeepers and the contractor supervisors
• Identifies maintenance repairs requiring work orders and initiates action for necessary work and followsup the requested work until completion
• Provide supervision and guidance for the facility services team

Minimum Education Required

Diploma certificate in related field based on job description is required

Professional Certifications Required

Years of Experience

Minimum 4 years experience in related field, preferably in healthcare

Languages

English:Advanced ; Arabic:Advanced
