Senior Engineer specializing in Maritime projects, you will play a key role in our dynamic team, contributing to the planning and development of port facilities in the KSA

The ideal candidate should have a solid background in Maritime Engineering and a proven track record in port planning.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Lead and contribute to the planning and design of maritime infrastructure projects, with a focus on ports and harbors.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for proposed port developments.
• Oversee the preparation of engineering designs, specifications, and construction drawings for port facilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate maritime engineering components into comprehensive project designs.
• Manage the execution of maritime projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, understanding their requirements and ensuring that project deliverables meet their expectations.
• Present project updates and findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Stay informed about local and international regulations related to maritime engineering and port development.
• Obtain necessary approvals from regulatory authorities.
• Conduct risk assessments for maritime projects, identifying potential challenges and proposing effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and lead junior engineers in the maritime engineering team.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
• 12- 15 years experience, minimum of 5 years of experience in Maritime Engineering, with a focus on port planning.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is desirable.
• Strong project management skills and experience with project delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of international standards and best practices in maritime engineering.
