Senior Electrical Engineer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Supervision Consultant. The ideal candidate will provide technical oversight and guidance on electrical systems design, installation, and commissioning for various projects. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that electrical systems meet project specifications, codes, and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert supervision and direction for electrical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, codes, and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans, while ensuring timely delivery of electrical systems.
• Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to monitor the quality of electrical installations and compliance with industry standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during design, installation, and commissioning phases, providing innovative solutions.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure all electrical systems comply with local, national, and international regulations, as well as company policies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to promote continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 14+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on supervision and consulting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and industry standards.
• Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, and budget management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
• Proficient in electrical design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent English Language skills.
• Must be SCE Certified (Professional or Consultant).
• Must have a Valid and Transferable Iqama (if non-Saudi).
