We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team on a major roads and highways construction project in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the construction phase. This role requires close collaboration with the supervision consultants and other project stakeholders.""

Responsibilities

  • Lead the supervision and inspection of all electrical works related to roads, highways, and associated infrastructure.
  • Ensure that all electrical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with project specifications, local regulations, and international standards.
  • Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, and technical submittals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor the progress of electrical works, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff.
  • Prepare and present reports on project status, electrical works progress, and any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure effective communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate successful project delivery.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on construction supervision for roads and highways projects.
  • Proven experience in managing electrical works on large-scale infrastructure projects in the Middle East.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international electrical standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
