Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Drafter to join our team! In this role you will get to work in a dynamic environment creating detailed working drawings.
What You'll Be Doing
- Utilize CAD workstation to prepare engineering drawings.
- Work closely with other Designer/Drafters and Engineers to ensure a coordinated design.
- Utilize technical manuals to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable standards and codes
- Compile data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings.
- Read and understand orthographic (2D) and/or isometric (3D) designs and supplier/manufacturer drawings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or High school diploma (or equivalent) or similar is required.
- 10+ years of MEA/KSA CAD drafting experience preferably in buildings, mixed use development or large scale infrastructure projects
- Expert in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Autodesk Civil 3D & Navisworks, ProjectWise & BIM360.
- PC literacy is essential with a strong foundation in utilizing CAD/Revit
- Meticulous and detail orientated
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to lead and train others
- Proven experience of working within complex construction environment.
- Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- PMP Certification
- KSA Driving License
