Senior Director - District Cooling (MAS-20003775)

Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of shaping an innovative community, and we are looking for an experienced Director - District Cooling to lead our district cooling operations. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for the overall management, design, and implementation of efficient district cooling systems that are integral to our developments. Your leadership will help ensure that our cooling solutions meet the highest standards of sustainability and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for district cooling systems, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's environmental and operational goals
• Oversee the design, engineering, and construction of district cooling infrastructure, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
• Lead a multidisciplinary team, providing guidance and oversight to ensure efficient operations and project execution
• Conduct market analyses and feasibility studies to evaluate new district cooling projects and innovations
• Ensure systems comply with local codes, regulations, and sustainability practices throughout their lifecycle
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including governmental agencies, utility providers, contractors, and technical consultants
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost reduction
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance system reliability and customer satisfaction
• Prepare and present reports on project status, performance metrics, and improvement strategies to senior management
• Stay abreast of industry advancements and technological innovations in district cooling and energy management practices
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• 15+ years of experience in designing and managing district cooling systems or large-scale HVAC projects
• Strong leadership and team management skills with proven expertise in leading complex engineering projects
• In-depth knowledge of energy efficiency regulations, sustainability practices, and industry standards
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and performance improvement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in project management software and tools for optimal planning and execution
