Senior Design Engineer

1. Define technically the job by reviewing the customers requirements and specifications.
2. Convey at the earliest, actual technical feasibility with regards to customer expectations as per the guidance of immediate superior.
3. Implement tailor-made solutions that stick the closest to the needs while working towards optimizing company’s existing standard supply.
4. Draft technical clarifications requested from customer, Projects Department, Manufacturing & Logistics or draftsmen in consultation with immediate superior or Senior Electrical Design Engineer.
5. Drafting the job technical data, single line diagram, panel layout, civil work guide and schematic by using computer aided system.
6. Review and assess supplier ability to comply with our specifications, in coordination with Logistic. Check thoroughly supplier’s acknowledgment of EPS order.
7. Prepare and issue the latest updated technical information to the concerned section (Mechanical Section, Project Department, Manufacturing & Logistics).
8. Participate in technical meetings with Projects Department or customer, together with Senior Electrical Design Engineer or immediate superior.
9. Prepare BOM for the job.
10. Prepare production file with applicable checklist.
11. Prepare and issue job based fabrication file request to mechanical section.
12. Effective use of design tools like Elecdes, Autocad etc.
