Job Summary

York Towers is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Lawyer to oversee all legal and compliance matters for its real estate brokerage platform in Saudi Arabia. This role involves handling corporate governance, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk management, ensuring legal protection while supporting business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate & Commercial Law:

• Draft, review, and negotiate brokerage agreements, partnership contracts, and investment deals.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Real Estate General Authority (REGA) and Ministry of Commerce (MOC) regulations.
• Advise on business structuring, joint ventures, acquisitions, and franchise agreements.
  
  

Regulatory & Compliance

• Monitor and implement compliance with real estate brokerage laws, e-commerce laws, and fintech regulations related to the platform.
• Manage licensing, regulatory approvals, and legal relations with REGA, MOC, and ZATCA.
• Develop internal compliance frameworks and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) policies for real estate transactions.
  
  

Risk Management & Dispute Resolution

• Identify and mitigate legal risks related to property transactions, commissions, and brokerage disputes.
• Handle legal claims, arbitration, and disputes with clients, agents, and partners.
• Represent the company in regulatory investigations and court proceedings if needed.
  
  

Technology & Data Privacy Compliance

• Ensure the brokerage platform complies with Saudi data protection laws and cybersecurity regulations.
• Draft and review terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for the digital platform.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• LLB or LLM in Law, preferably with a focus on corporate or real estate law.
• 8+ years of experience in corporate and commercial law, with at least 3 years in real estate or brokerage.
• Licensed to practice law in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong experience in contract negotiation, compliance, and dispute resolution.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).

• Experience with real estate brokerage platforms, digital contracts, and fintech regulations.
• Knowledge of REGA laws, escrow regulations, and brokerage commission structures.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
