The Senior Contract Manager will lead the contract administration function, providing expert guidance on contracts, claims, disputes, and compliance with local laws and regulations. The role requires strong experience in construction contracts in the GCC region, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex legal and commercial issues.
The project involves large-scale land development including civil infrastructure, utilities, and facilities. The Senior Contract Manager will oversee all contractual and legal aspects of the project, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and effective dispute resolution.
- Contract implementation, monitoring, compliance and performance across the program
- Develop RFPs and execute contract documentation in line with agreed procurement and packaging strategies working hand in hand with RCRC procurement
- Collation of necessary procurement documents, as per client requirements for engaging parties across the program
- Lead and manage all contract activities for the project.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and agreements.
- Provide advice on project contracts, risk management, claims, and dispute resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project management, commercial, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on contractual matters.
- Manage claims, variations, and disputes, including preparation of supporting documentation and negotiations.
- Prepare reports and provide guidance to senior management and clients on contractual issues.
- Mentor and guide junior contract staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master’s or LLM preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in contract management, legal advisory, and dispute resolution for construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in GCC countries, preferably Saudi Arabia.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, laws, and regulations applicable in KSA.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in contract management software and tools
