Senior Consulting Cloud Architect

Job Purpose

The Senior Consulting Cloud Architect with primary focus on Microsoft M365 and Microsoft Copilot and secondary focus on Microsoft Azure Cloud plays a critical role in advising clients on the best cloud solutions to meet their business needs and materialize it by developing the solution architecture, technical presentations, documentation, RFx responses and proposals that convinces the business and technical stakeholders about the proposed solution.

Job Description

Solution Approach

• An expert in Modern Workplace: Guide business and technical decision makers on creating business value on top of the Microsoft 365 platform. Synthesize business and technical architecture requirements. Serve as the as the go-to technical expert in the Microsoft 365 space for the regional sales teams. The opportunity to deliver speaking engagements evangelizing Microsoft 365 in business conferences.
• Solution design: Using your technical knowledge, architectural approach, consultancy skills and our methodology to win a customer’s technical decision to buy and use Microsoft solutions and cloud services.
• Design and Implementation: Architect and deploy Microsoft 365 solutions including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Security Expertise: Implement and manage Microsoft 365 security workloads including Microsoft Defender, Identity Protection, and Threat Management solutions to protect organizational data and assets.
• Compliance Management: Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 compliance workloads such as Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, and eDiscovery to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Solution Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for designed solutions, including architecture diagrams, configuration settings, and operational procedures.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients and internal teams on Microsoft 365 functionalities, promoting adoption and proficient use of implemented solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 features, security updates, and compliance regulations, incorporating enhancements into existing solutions and advising clients on potential impacts.
• Design secure, scalable, and cost-effective technical solution architecture and scope of work that meet clients' requirements and adhere to industry best practices.
• Develop and own the technical proposals/responses.
• Coordinate with the service delivery team to ensure the customer expectations are met.
• Ensure the security of cloud architecture, in compliance with data privacy regulations and other relevant standards.
• Develop a roadmap and implementation plan for M365 E5 services.
  
  

Service Consultancy

• Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, providing expert guidance on Microsoft 365 capabilities and best practices.
• Set vision: You will use your technical knowledge to show customers an inspiring digital vision, across all Microsoft workloads, as well as deeper engagement in your core technology specialism – Microsoft 365. You will make this digital vision real using the architecture skills of you and your peers to provide a complete solution.
• Build strategy: You will map the agreed customer vision into a strategy for implementation, resolving concerns, removing technical blockers, and validating a strong business case for investment. You will work with the customer, wider account team resources and our partners to orchestrate a roadmap for implementation.
• Deliver customer engagements: You will prepare and deliver technical engagements to enterprise customers. These include Business envisioning, Solution envisioning, Architecture design, Rapid prototype, and Hackathon. You take a cross-solution view to leverage capabilities across the entire Microsoft cloud platform. You will work collaboratively with account teams to determine the best engagements for a given opportunity to maximize customer benefit and accelerate deals success.
  
  

Additional Responsibilities

Business Enablement

• Develop different technical materials and educate customers on the value of Bespin Global cloud solutions’ proposition.
• Deliver webinars on emerging technologies.
• Conduct proof of concepts and implement pilot projects to support different cloud features & services.
  
  

Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and partners to enhance collaboration and sales opportunities.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
• Act as customer consultant of the new trends and services and advise on the best model to adopt while launching a new service.
• Evangelize Bespin’s products & services in discussions with potential customers & partners to direct opinions and inspire action.

Job Specification

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
• OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  
  

Professional Certifications

• Microsoft 365 Certifications
• Microsoft Azure Certifications
• Or any similar Microsoft certifications
  
  

Knowledge

• Structured facilitator. Validated customer experience in requirements capture; prioritization; capturing evidence and impact to quantify business value; issue, risk and constraint identification
• Technical breadth. Intermediate level experience across the full range of Microsoft cloud solutions – Azure infrastructure, Azure Developer, Azure data, artificial intelligence, business applications, modern workplace and productivity, security, business applications. Demonstrated experience of solution architectures which span multiple workloads
• Design Thinking. Proven experience of delivering design thinking; ‘ideation’; or similar context analysis/ problem framing.
• Technical depth. Experience as a solutions architect or equivalent in the area of Microsoft’s modern workplace toolset.
