A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Senior CPM you will work in an agile environment responsible for the completion of all commercial/financial related matters for LTP and Mods and Ups Projects. Furthermore, supporting the respective Project Manager in all other areas with the objective of executing the project according to the defined Project Management (PM) standards, customer requirements and the applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG).

As a Senior CPM you will work in an agile environment responsible for the completion of all commercial/financial related matters for LTP and Mods and Ups Projects. Furthermore, supporting the respective Project Manager in all other areas with the objective of executing the project according to the defined Project Management (PM) standards, customer requirements and the applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG).
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Ensures an adequate project handover phase, analyses customer’s requirements, examines commercial and contractual feasibility for implementation.
- Ability to handle and manage multiple projects alongside Field Services other transactional business.
- Managing, monitoring and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care (e.g., project gross profit, cash flow, assets and financing instruments)
- Ensure compliance to all applicable guidelines in managing the project e. SFRGs, NCM, LoA, transfer pricing, tax, BCGs, ECC and applicable laws.
- Ensures the accuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project books and records, incl. recording in appropriate systems eg. Spiridon. Preparation of all commercial documentation required for the project’s records, reviews meetings and audits
- Managing project risk and opportunities in the project together with the Project Manager.
- Managing change orders & claims with all contractual partners.
- Managing foreign currency risk in the projects in line with hedging/currency guidelines.
- Managing PG methods in major projects and reporting of NFCP accordingly.
- Support in all relevant project procurement & logistics topics.
- Manage suppliers / subcontractor’s payment certification and processing.
- Manage project guarantees, bonds and project insurance.
- Manage stakeholder’s requirements (customer, subcontractors, internal management, consortium partners and other team members etc…)
- Regularly performs lessons learned activities on commercial aspects and feeds results into own project lessons learned activities and into own organization including non-conformance cost reporting.
- Ensures proper handling of petty cash.
- You should have at least 5 - 7 years of experience as CPM for handling of long-term / complex "C" category projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance. Master’s degree or Certifications would be advantageous.
- IPMA or Siemens Certified CPM for "C" Category projects. Additional Certification would be advantageous
- Experience with Project Management methods, processes and tools
- Experience with Business Processes (project execution, sales, purchasing etc…)
- Accounting Principles (IFRS, FRGs)
- Asset Management
- Contract/Claim Management
- Project Risk & Opportunity Management
- Command over MS Office (Specially Excel, Power Point etc...)
- Proficiency with related SAP modules
- Excellent oral & written communication & presentation skills in English
- Experience with forecasting, reporting, and analysis
- Able to work effectively with individuals from multiple cultures and backgrounds.
- Sensitivity toward other culture/mentality in the respective region
- Managing pressure during peak execution season
- Managing difficult & challenging situation and conflicts management
