A Snapshot of Your Day

You will provide solutions concerning commercial topics and accounting principles relevant to projects of varying volumes and complexities (CCM/POC revenue recognition) with leading oil and gas and power generation companies.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Ensure all reporting requirements and compliance with IFRS 15 and Siemens Energy Financial Reporting Guidelines are met through suitable and reliable processes and tools.
  • Set up projects in the project finance system (SAP) and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial data throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular costs-to-complete forecasting using the percentage of completion (POC) method, collaborating with Project Managers to monitor and address uncertainties promptly.
  • Manage contract assets, liabilities, project payables, and receivables, forecasting project cash flow inflows and outflows monthly while overseeing currency risks and tax issues.
  • Assist the Project Manager in administering the project risk and opportunity register, preparing payment claims in accordance with contract requirements, and providing input for negotiations based on lessons learned.
  • Support claim management, back-charges, and insurance cases, ensuring proper follow-up with the Project Manager and legal team, while ensuring project execution aligns with processes and guidelines (local GAAP, IFRS, FRG, etc.).


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, with a master’s degree considered a plus, and a minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in project controlling and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in SAP R3 FICO, SD, and PS, with knowledge of PP considered an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight timelines, demonstrating strong analytical skills and the capacity to communicate effectively with project management and senior corporate management.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles, with experience in identifying, evaluating, and assessing risks and opportunities in project controlling.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, enabling effective data analysis and reporting.
  • Fluent in English, facilitating clear communication in a professional environment.
