Senior CAD Designer will be responsible for preparing and developing detailed civil infrastructure drawings and models for roads, grading, and site development projects. The role requires strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with an emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to design standards. Familiarity with BIM processes will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and design models for civil infrastructure projects including roads, grading, drainage, and utilities.
  • Develop and manage surface models, profiles, corridors, and alignments using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Coordinate with engineers and other design disciplines to ensure drawing accuracy and design consistency.
  • Review and update drawings based on engineer comments, design revisions, and client requirements.
  • Maintain drawing standards and templates in accordance with company and project CAD standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs and design documentation.
  • Support BIM coordination activities and participate in multidisciplinary model reviews when required.
    • Ensure all deliverables meet quality, accuracy, and schedule requirements

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
  • 10–12 years of experience as a CAD Designer in civil infrastructure projects (roads, grading, and site development).
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of grading design, road alignments, profiles, and corridors.
  • Familiarity with BIM workflows, Navisworks, and Revit is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working on Saudi Arabia or GCC infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of local authority CAD standards and submission requirements.
