The Senior Art Director is responsible for leading the design team and delivering high-impact creative work with focus, commitment, and a growing mastery of all aspects of design and art. This role brings big ideas to life with excellence, ensuring creative output reflects the highest standards and positively influences client success.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute creative concepts in partnership with copywriters and under the guidance of the Creative Director.
- Contribute innovative thinking and develop big ideas that elevate campaigns and client projects.
- Present creative concepts and big ideas confidently to clients using a range of presentation techniques.
- Translate concepts into strong visual designs that align with strategic objectives.
- Take ownership of creative deliverables, setting the standard for quality and guiding the design team by example.
- Ensure all creative work embodies the brand’s tone, positioning, and identity.
- Deliver insightful and impactful design executions that drive measurable results for clients.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the design team to foster growth and creativity.
- Serve as a main point of contact for Account Management and Project Management within the creative team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in design and art direction, preferably within an agency environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing big ideas, brand campaigns, and innovative design solutions.
- Expertise in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance creative excellence with business objectives.
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring and inspiring creative talent.
