Position: Senior AI Expert

Remote, for a 3-month contract

The organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Expert to lead the development and deployment of intelligent systems, with a strong focus on large language models (LLMs) and scalable infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, training, and deployment of LLMs, including prompt engineering and inference optimization.
• Architect and implement scalable AI solutions using modern infrastructure tools.
• Manage on-premise deployment of AI models using Docker, Kubernetes, and GPU-based systems.
• Integrate and optimize vector databases (e.g., FAISS) for efficient data retrieval.
• Apply agent frameworks and multi-step reasoning to build intelligent workflows.
• Collaborate with front-end teams using frameworks such as Streamlit, React, or Dash.
• Oversee model evaluation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Contribute to a collaborative, innovation-driven team culture.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience with LLMs and related technologies.
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with on-premise AI model deployment and GPU utilization.
• Solid understanding of model evaluation techniques and lifecycle management.
