YOUR IMPACT

In this role, you will target key accounts for our cutting-edge Cybersecurity portfolio, focusing on one of our core pillars: Application Security, Data Security & Privacy, Security Operations, or Identity & Access Management. As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll lead sales pursuits in your designated focus areas, working closely with Solution Engineers, Product Leaders, and the Channel Organization to deliver world-class solutions.


This position requires strategic thinking and specialized knowledge, allowing you to generate demand, build a pipeline, and close significant deals. You’ll engage in direct prospecting, networking, and collaborate with Business Development Representatives to drive success.


WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Identifying opportunities for new product placements and building sales strategies to maximize growth.
  • Managing the full sales process, from identifying solutions to successfully delivering them to clients.
  • Focusing on customer gaps and creating tailored solutions that address their unique needs with clear ROI.
  • Leading clients through the decision-making process, utilizing a consultative approach that challenges their current thinking.
  • Expanding OpenText’s market share through a long-term sales pipeline and cultivating strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Selling sophisticated cybersecurity solutions across diverse industries, offering a dynamic and fulfilling career.


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • A proven ability to create strong business relationships and close large enterprise deals.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quotas and driving success in complex sales environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills, especially in navigating matrixed organizations.
  • 5+ years of experience in Application Security, Data Security & Privacy, Identity & Access Management, or Security Operations.
  • 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a history of closing large, complex deals.
  • University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
