Job Description
The Security coordinator has responsibility as managing agent for the on-going management of all security contractors. This includes all aspects of physical security, manned guarding and electronic security of the building and grounds. The security coordinator will drive the strategy for an integrated security process and be the trusted security advisor to our client with respect to evolving threats using international best practice. The candidate will propose and achieve agreement on an effective service level agreement framework and manage contractors through non-subjective key performance indicators.
The Security coordinator must be fully committed to supporting the core business objectives of JLL and client, whilst obtaining best value for money for the organization.
Duties:
The Security Strategy is agreed and implemented in partnership with the client and other stakeholders to reduce security threats/risk and ensure that the client’s assets are always protected. The Security Strategy and Plans are functional and up to always date. The selected service providers are managed carefully using agreed SLAs and KPls. All training needs are identified and processed promptly and are undertaken at the appropriate time. Performance Agreements, interim and main reviews are undertaken within the set timescale. To maintain and ensure the Security Operations Manual is up to date for use by all on site security personnel to cover duties, individual instructions for each post; attendance; use of security equipment; dress standard; training etc. Initiate security clearances and maintain appropriate records. Represent security on any relevant project workgroups and project boards Has responsibility for the on-going management of all security contractors. This includes all aspects of physical security, manned guarding and electronic security of the building and grounds. Will drive the strategy for an integrated security process and be the trusted security advisor to our client with respect to evolving threats using international best practice. Will propose and achieve agreement on an effective service level agreement framework and manage contractors through non-subjective key performance indicators. Requirements and Skills
Proven experience in GCC as security coordinator (minimum of 5 years), with experience managing a security control room
In depth knowledge of security legislation, OHS standards (e.g. OSHA/ISO) and procedures
Experience in writing reports and policies for safety and security
Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus
Outstanding organizational skills
Diligent with great attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain security topics
Bachelor of Science in security and safety management
Certificate in occupational health and safety (IOSH/NEBOSH) – not necessary but advantageous
Arabic speaker
