Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to proactive wellbeing and mental health initiatives
- Provide one-to-one and group counselling to pupils as appropriate
- Support inclusive education through culturally responsive and trauma-informed practice
- Deliver emotional coaching and promote social–emotional learning
- Work closely with staff, parents, and senior leaders to enhance whole-school wellbeing provision
- Experience working as a School Counsellor
- Training or qualifications in areas such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Youth Mental Health First Aid, and Trauma-Informed Practice
- Strong working knowledge of Child Protection, Restorative Practices, Functional Behaviour Assessment, and Positive Behaviour for Learning
