Job Purpose

Jobs at this level are responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and management of the Satellite & Mission Critical portfolio. This includes developing and implementing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, managing the product lifecycle, and ensuring optimal service performance. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Participates in the development and implementation of plans aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Directs and manages the mandates associated with the Satellite & Mission Critical portfolio, providing leadership and facilitating work processes to achieve high performance standards.
  • Manages and controls change in the portfolio, providing guidance and support necessary for continuous improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Define go-to-market and product roadmap for Satellite & Mission Critical services.
  • Manage end-to-end Satellite & Mission Critical services portfolio, including portfolio revamps or decommissioning of products.
  • Manage lifecycle from ideation to soft/commercial launch for new services and enhancements, including drafting budgets/business cases, resource requirements, product roadmaps, functionalities, operating models, and partner requirements.
  • Oversee the drafting of user journeys and business requirements documentation related to Satellite & Mission Critical services.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and liaise with Technology to hand over requirements for the development of products and services.
  • Liaise with Industry Insights & Market Intelligence, and Customer Journey & Channels Management to gather feedback on products, competition, and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to develop communication campaigns.
  • Work with Sales teams to collate and analyze customer feedback/data for service improvements.
  • Develop tariff plans for all Satellite & Mission Critical services and evaluate the cannibalization impact of pricing decisions.

Job Responsibility (Cont.)

  • Monitor service performance and align with Customer Journey & Channels Management on customer experience, loyalty, and retention requirements.
  • Support Business Development and Solution Architecture in the development of technical proposals.
  • Provide product leadership, working with Sales, Retention, Customer Experience, Digital Services, Network, IT, Finance, and external partners.
  • Develop value proposition training manuals for sales and customer service, and conduct training sessions.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Strategy and Telco Product Pricing & Profitability for inputs on pricing and business case reviews.
  • Manage revenue share budgets for agreements, submitting financial commitments and monitoring budget consumption.
  • Ensure related procurement activities are carried out, including issuing purchase orders and processing invoices.

People Management Responsibilities

  • Defines goals and key performance indicators for team members, ensuring effective application of performance management processes.
  • Directs planning and selection of manpower in line with business and operational plans.
  • Ensures high levels of employee engagement and capability development through ongoing feedback and coaching.
