DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for Sales Support Specialist in Saudi Arabia. In this specific position you will develop local Key Accounts and achieve revenue and profit contribution objectives from an assigned list of Key Regular Accounts in a designated Province area within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In this Sales Support Specialist position

Job Purpose

Develop and administer sales administration/ sales support plans and processes to enhance customer satisfaction, effectively support sales teams and achieve successful project implementation in line with business strategy, sales objectives, Group guidelines and policies.

Principal Accountabilities

Key Tasks


  • Develop and administer sales administration/ sales support plans and processes to support administration and planning of sales contracts as per specifications and expectations, for both the customer and DPDHL
  • Deliver support to sales teams and process sales transaction in an efficient, accurate and economical manner
  • Support sales teams to prepare quotations and contracts, including rate proposals and proposal writing
  • Execute processes to provide customer information, support identification and qualification of sales leads
  • Draft and execute commercial documentation such as sales contracts and maintenance agreements to support sales
  • Coordinate between sales and customers, answer queries on both stock and shipment of orders
  • Undertake adequate follow up on orders and resolve escalated problems related to orders
  • Implement process for completion of post implementation review and prepare reports on resulting customer satisfaction
  • Support customer problem management and report on results of corrective processes
  • Consolidate and review reports and statistics for supporting sales teams to analyze and prepare for business reviews, including revenue development, churn rates, hit rates, pipeline size, etc. by customers
  • Support pre- and after-sales activities


Stakeholders


  • Connect with and influence other specialist departments and 3rd parties e.g. external service providers
  • May convince others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
  • Build strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with DPDHL managers
  • Understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns and advise direct reports, customers and key stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance to line managers and employees


Management Responsibility


  • Individual contributor who may manage two or fewer employees
  • May direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs
  • Coach and review the work of lower level professionals.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
  • More than 4 years within the same field
  • Excellent communicator in English, both written and verbal.
