Job Purpose:
- Oversee and manage the sales team to ensure achievement of sales targets and objectives.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to drive sales growth and meet dealership goals.
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Supervise, train, and motivate sales staff to improve performance and achieve sales targets.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, discuss goals, and address any issues.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the sales team.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers.
- Implement strategies to improve customer retention and repeat business.
- Track and analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to management, highlighting achievements and challenges.
- Implement corrective actions and strategies to address performance issues and improve results.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as finance, service, and marketing, to ensure smooth sales operations.
- Oversee the implementation of sales promotions, campaigns, and events to drive traffic and increase sales.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations.
- Conduct market research and analyze competitor activities to stay informed about industry trends and developments.
- Use market insights to adjust sales strategies and tactics to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to manage vehicle stock levels and ensure availability aligns with sales requirements.
- Monitor inventory turnover and assist in planning for vehicle procurement and allocation.
- Handle administrative tasks related to sales, including processing orders, managing customer records, and maintaining sales documentation.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of sales paperwork and transactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and leading a sales team.
- Proficiency in sales management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of sales principles, practices, and automotive industry trends.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach.
- Understanding of the automotive market in Saudi Arabia, including market dynamics, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
