Carrier – Abound KSA is in search of a Sales Manager to propel the growth of Carrier – Abound SaaS – Advanced digital building solutions and innovative managed services portfolio. As part of this role, you would be accountable for discovering, pursuing, and effectively securing new business prospects spanning diverse industries encompassing both existing and new commercial real estate projects.

Abound solutions include Health & Well-Being, Sustainability, Asset Management, Safety & Security.
Strong business and technology acumen develop sufficiently detailed knowledge of customer needs to formulate compelling structured HVAC / Energy / Metering / Environment digital solutions and managed services offering.
Collaborate with engineering and services teams to ensure prompt and cost-effective digital solution proposal, adhering to quality standards, and customer business requirements.
Create responses to RFPs, proposals, bids, and any required documents for prospective clients.
Conduct solutions demos, engage, and lead technology pilot projects for customers. Support in the technical onboarding of projects if required.
Be the subject matter expert of Abound digital solutions with customer, provide valuable guidance, expertise, and direction to help customers reach their goals.
Attend industry events with the ability to demo, present and communicate to large and small audiences. Network for potential new business and strengthen external relationships.
Maintain high awareness of the competitive environment in the markets.
Manage the pipeline efficiently by tracking and keeping management informed about the status of sales opportunities and client engagements.
Identifying and prioritizing projects in the pipelines based on strategic alignment, resource availability, and risk.
Ability to monitor, guide solution implementation within the portfolio of projects, including schedule, budget, and quality.
Manage customer’s expectation and relationships effectively.
Hold sales meetings with clients, take charge of negotiating business transactions, and collaborate with Sales, Legal, Credit, and Operations teams as necessary to fine-tune contract terms and conditions. Ensure that the required approvals are obtained before executing any deals.
Collaborate with a varied team consisting of both local and offshore members, along with internal corporate support staff, to finalize transactions and commercial proposals.
Craft service and supply agreements that align with profitable support from business operations.
Ability and willingness to travel as needed throughout KSA, UAE and other GCC countries to support customer and team’s engagements.
Close profitable transactions.
Local Saudi market experience is a must. UAE / GCC Market experience is well appreciated.
10+ years’ experience in Building Technologies Automation, Metering, and HVAC.
Strong exposure to IoT, Cloud, AI, and SaaS concept and solutions implementation.
Strong relationships in Real Estate, Retail, Hotels, industrial and government sectors.
Robust business acumen and a track record as a successful "hunter" capable of recognizing and sealing significant opportunities.
Conversant in key concepts like smart building & cities solutions, HVAC / chillers systems, metering, and enterprise application services.
Experience in energy optimization / saving services best practices, measurement & verifications, remote monitoring / managed services sales.
Ability to understand technical building / HVAC / metering / SaaS solutions and communicate value proposition to project senior stakeholders – management, consultants, contractors, customers’ engineering stakeholders.
A deep enthusiasm for sustainable technologies and a firm dedication to promoting the use of cutting-edge environmental and energy solutions.
Proficient in cultivating new business, overseeing client relationships, pinpointing customer requirements, formulating proposals, structuring, and negotiating transactions, overseeing intricate projects to completion, finalizing deals, handling customer onboarding, and maintaining ongoing client relationships.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration with both internal and external partners.
Motivated, industrious individual focused on sales, maintaining high personal and team standards; resourceful and adept at navigating an entrepreneurial, diverse, and matrixed environment.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering is a must. M.B.A or advanced technical degree preferred.
A critical thinker with discerning judgment, avoiding a passive acceptance of conventional business approaches.
Outstanding problem-solving, strategic-thinking, presentation, verbal and writing skills.
The role is based in KSA.
