Sales Executive
Job Purpose
Targeting all types of clients and seeking to acquire new ones. The Sales Executive will identify the company’s needs and demands and sell accordingly. Maintain very good relations with these accounts.
The goal is to formulate strong relationships to ensure growth and preserve and augment our firm’s prestige.
Areas of Contribution and Related Responsibilities
Operational Involvement – Process Administration
- Achieve the annual target by selling AICC products and policies.
- Conduct market research and build a database of prospective clients.
- Handle client relations, after-sales services, and policy premium collection.
- Submit the required reports as requested by the direct manager.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Abides by and continuously monitors the implementation of risk and compliance requirements to ensure company information is protected and threats are controlled.
Customer Relationship Management
Maintains customer relations by:
- Following up regularly on clients’ inquiries and requests, ensuring prompt and efficient service provision to maintain quality excellence.
Report Development & Documentation
- Provides accurate and updated data for reporting purposes as per standards to support sound decision-making.
Policies and Procedures
- Strictly abides by AICC’s policies and procedures to ensure risk-free processes and error-free outcomes.
Communications and Working Relationships
Regularly communicates with concerned internal and external parties using proficient oral and written communication to fulfill duties and ensure process efficiency.
Framework, Boundaries, and Decision-Making Authority
The job is subject to standardized work routines, practices, and procedures with clear work instructions. The job holder is expected to make routine decisions within their scope of responsibility and refer to direct supervision for guidance and updates.
Role Qualifications
Education:
- High school or BSc degree
- IFCE Certification
- Courses and certifications in insurance are recommended
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience is a must
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proven experience as an insurance sales representative
- Good comprehension of insurance plans (automobile, fire, life, property, medical, etc.)
- Ability to work with computers and interpret standard statistical findings
- Goal-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and creating long-lasting relationships
- Proficient in the use of Excel and Word
