Job Purpose
To drive sustainable sales growth by strategically identifying, pursuing, and securing high-value wooden fit-out projects. This includes leading technical sales activities, cultivating strong client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of premium wooden solutions such as custom joinery, cabinetry, and decorative wall cladding. The role emphasizes a consultative approach to sales, aligning client needs with tailored design and execution capabilities, while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, quality, and service excellence.
Key Accountability AreasSales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets in the wooden fit-out market.
- Identify and qualify new slaes opportunities through market research, industry networking, and proactive client engagement.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by targeting key stakeholders such as architects, interior designers, contractors, and developers.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and technical solutions that align with client needs and project specifications.
Inquiry and Tender Management
- Supervise and track all incoming inquiries and tenders.
- Ensure timely and optimal responses to clients.
Technical Expertise
- Provide product knowledge and technical support related to wooden materials and installation techniques.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and innovations.
Market Presence
- Organize and participate in technical meetings, seminars, and exhibitions.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to increase brand visibility and awareness.
Competitor Monitoring
- Track and analyze competitor activities.
- Share insights with management to support strategic decisions.
Negotiation & Closing
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients.
- Close deals effectively to meet or exceed sales targets.
Customer & Payment Management
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement.
- Follow up on payments to prevent overdue balances and maintain healthy cash flow.
HR Proficiency:
- Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.
Delivery:
- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
Problem-Solving:
- Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
Quality:
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
Business Process Improvements:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
Compliance:
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
