About The Role

We are looking for a Sales Back Office Expert to provide the Saudi Arabia Regional Headquarters team with professional and timely administrative support.

The position reports to the Maritime Country Manager of Saudi Arabia and is based in Al Khobar.

Key Accountabilities

  • Serve as backup for customer contact to secure the highest level of responsiveness.
  • Support gathering and preparing presentations, documents, information material, and various data to assist the sales team and the sales management team in preparing customer interaction, internal meetings or business planning and sales steering activities.
  • Participate and actively contribute to the internal sales team.
  • Keep an overview of current contracts and in alignment with the sales team initiate adequate renewal actions.
  • Prepare in a timely manner professional quotation, contracts, contract renewals upon input from the sales team and according to standardized formal processes, content and layout.
  • Help identify sales opportunities by applying defined standards for verifying and qualifying business leads that were identified by sales or marketing & communications teams. Delegate resulting sales opportunities to the sales team.
  • Support the sales team and the marketing & communications team with arranging, executing, and following up on marketing and communication activities.
  • Support on request in following up with customer invoicing claims and account receivables.
  • Coordinate and support the maintenance of customer address and contact data, customer activity data, and opportunity data in the CRM to enable professional after-sales service and reliable sales performance management (e.g. Sales Pipeline Management).
  • Where applicable, coordinate and arrange on request external and internal meetings and assist with related follow-up activities.
  • Be a single point of contact across business areas for customer portal access management and distribution of invitations to bid
  • Monitor communications and social media pages and ensure clients’ queries are addressed by relevant persons.

About You

Position Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, from a well-known University
  • Approximately 2-3 years of experience in a similar sales back office role
  • Self-driven and highly engaged professional
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Inspired by taking ownership and working in a global network
  • Organized/Structured with an eye for details
  • Commercial awareness and a customer-centric mindset
  • Fluent in English & Arabic
  • Excellent PC skills (MS Office, Salesforce, or other ERP applications)
