Safety Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Studying all project works in terms of occupational safety and health.
• Ensure the availability of emergency devices and tools at the site.
• Ensure that project personnel have been trained to perform their work safely.
• Ensuring the safety of the workplace and the safety of equipment.
• Ensure that all work areas in progress at the site are secured.
• Emphasis on the contractor to adhere to the project safety models and circulars.
• Conducting periodic inspections of the project workplaces and reporting any notifications to the project manager.
• To stop any unsafe work.
• Investigating all accidents and determining measures to prevent their recurrence in the future.
• Keeping a record of all accidents and their statistics and reporting them to the legal authorities according to the system.
• Giving advice to the project manager related to occupational safety and health.
Supervising the placement and adequacy of health and safety signs in the project

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 3 - 6 years’ experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position dealing with PMC/ Engineer / Employer.
• Proven previous experience in infrastructure project is a MUST.
• Microsoft Office
• Language Skills: Working proficiency in English language is mandatory, Arabic is a plus.
