Roads/Highways Design Engineer (Civil 3D)

Context

The ideal Roads/Highways design engineer with Civil 3D expertise will plans, designs, and oversees road and highway infrastructure projects by using specialized software like Civil 3D to create 3D models, calculate earthwork volumes, and design alignments, drainage systems, and other components. This position is to be based at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Missions/Main Duties

• Ideal candidate must have 7 to 12 years of experience in the same field.
• Coordinate with Road Design Engineer and Senior Road Designer/CAD Engineer on all activities relating to Design.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D models of roadways, including horizontal and vertical alignments, lanes, shoulders, and drainage systems, using Civil 3D
• Perform site investigations, conduct traffic studies, and use Civil 3D to calculate earthwork volumes, pavement design, and other project requirements.
• Ability to schedule, manage and supervise multiple drafting activities.
• Experience working in international work environments.
  
  

Profile/Skills

• Recognized Degree/Diploma in Engineering.
• Good working knowledge of Roads and highways Designs.
• Skill in preparing technical documents and communicating design ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
