Road Safety Strategy and Planning Manager (MAS 609)

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a talented and experienced Road Safety Strategy and Planning Manager to enhance the safety and operational efficiency of our transportation networks. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive road safety strategies that align with Qiddiya's commitment to creating a safe and sustainable environment for all visitors and residents.

Your expertise will play a critical role in analyzing current road conditions, identifying hazards, and proposing effective safety measures to minimize risks and promote safe driving practices. You will work across multiple departments and engage with stakeholders to ensure that road safety is integrated into all aspects of project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Roads projects assigned by development
• Support Parking projects assigned by development, (e.g., park & ride, temporary parking, parking structure)
• Manage all internal and external governance (including any authority or government agency) interactions including (but not limited to) those required for approvals, stakeholder interaction etc
• Manage all activities required to undertake your responsibilities, including (but not limited to) consultant procurement, management and contract management, committee presentations, gateway approvals etc
• Manage preparations for opening and operational readiness scenarios specific to transport modes
• Manage the preparation of impact assessments as a result of changes or other factors, including the impacts on cost, time and quality
• Manage the support of all other job families as necessary
• Support the management of the adoption process for roads (including parking, bridges etc,) systems to either National Champions, the Private Sector or Master Developer Operations
• Support Road Safety Management System, including adoption of the Safe System Approach, Strategy and Action Plan.
• Support a central road safety resource to support planning, road safety audits, IRAP assessments, design review and project development to master developers
• Support preparation and management of any and all road safety consultant shortlist, including regular review, supplier interface on performance and updates as necessary
• Manage the production of road safety policies across Qiddiya to support Qiddiyas City Value Proposition and Mobility targets
• Support the review of all submissions to ensure that road safety being managed against proposed strategies
• Support the management of the Road Safety elements of the City Framework reports, guidelines, codes and standards and plans to ensure consistency of information and betterment as necessary
• Support the management of on-site road safety, both at a city and district level, including review of all temporary traffic management plans etc
• Manage crash predication, reporting, investigation & data collection
• Manage road safety enforcement and education
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in road safety planning, traffic management, or a related area
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certification preferred
