Rigger

As a Rigger, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently lifting, moving, and securing heavy loads using various rigging equipment and techniques. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all rigging operations are carried out in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect rigging equipment and ensure that it is in proper working condition
• Calculate load weights and determine the appropriate rigging methods and equipment to use
• Set up and dismantle rigging equipment as needed
• Attach rigging to objects to be lifted or moved, ensuring proper weight distribution and balance
• Operate rigging equipment such as cranes, hoists, and winches to lift and move heavy loads
• Communicate with other team members to coordinate rigging activities and ensure safety
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform routine maintenance on rigging equipment as needed
• Assist with other tasks as directed by supervisors

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in rigging or relevant field is preferred
• Proven experience as a Rigger or similar role
• Strong understanding of rigging techniques and equipment
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to rigging operations
• Ability to calculate load weights and determine rigging requirements
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and focus on safety
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
