WSP is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team for a major infrastructure project in Madinah. The role requires expertise in bridges, tunnels, and large-scale infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, contract administration, and financial management to ensure project success within budget and compliance with contractual requirements.

WSP is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team for a major infrastructure project in Madinah. The role requires expertise in bridges, tunnels, and large-scale infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, contract administration, and financial management to ensure project success within budget and compliance with contractual requirements.
Your new role, what's involved?
- Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents for bridges and tunnels.
- Monitor project costs, conduct cost control analysis, and ensure adherence to the approved budget.
- Assess contractor valuations, variations, and claims, providing recommendations based on contract conditions.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate measurement and valuation of work completed.
- Assist in contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with FIDIC and other contract frameworks.
- Prepare monthly progress reports, cost forecasts, and financial statements.
- Support the procurement process, including evaluating supplier bids and contractor proposals.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and stakeholders to mitigate risks related to cost and contracts.
- Participate in project handover and final account settlements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in quantity surveying, specifically in bridges, tunnels, and infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, cost control methodologies, and claims management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, CCS, and cost estimation software.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects in the Middle East is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS, CIArb, or equivalent) is a plus.
