Senior Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Cost Management & Estimation
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and cost plans at various stages of project development (FEED, EPC, and execution phases).
- Validate contractors’ cost submissions, claims, and variations against contract scope and deliverables.
- Monitor project cost performance and forecast final costs (EAC, ETC).
- Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
- Contract & Commercial Administration
- Review and interpret contract terms, conditions, and obligations for both client and contractor agreements.
- Manage change control processes, including identification, evaluation, and negotiation of variations and claims.
- Ensure compliance with PMC and client commercial procedures.
- Support tender evaluation, bid comparison, and recommendation processes.
- Procurement & Invoicing
- Coordinate with procurement and finance teams for progress measurement, certification, and payment approval.
- Review and validate contractors’ invoices, progress reports, and supporting documentation.
- Track commitments, expenditures, and forecast cash flows across the project portfolio.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare regular cost and commercial reports for internal management and client review.
- Maintain up-to-date cost databases, benchmarks, and project records.
- Provide input to monthly progress and performance reports.
- Risk & Compliance
- Identify potential cost and commercial risks; recommend mitigation measures.
- Support audits and ensure documentation aligns with company and client governance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, health, safety, and environmental standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS, AIQS, or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience in cost engineering or quantity surveying, preferably in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
- Experience in PMC or EPC environment.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects within a portfolio setup.
- Strong understanding of industry-standard contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, bespoke EPC contracts
