Saudi Diesel Equipment is seeking applications for a quality engineer to join the Switchgear division. The responsibilities for the job are as below:
- Report all defective parts during testing by raising NCR’s
- Review weekly WO Status Report and plan for the coming week testing efficiently
- Testing & Troubleshooting LV Switchgear, MCC withdrawable, MCC fixed and all other panels.
- Instructing to Preparing Control circuit Diagram
- Raw Material Inspection
- Mechanical Assembly Inspection
- Electrical Assembly Inspection
- Component Inspection
- Preparing QC Report to Management
- Preparing Warranty Letter to Customer
- Preparing QC certificates to Customer
- Preparing rectification report and submitting to Weekly meeting
- Communicating with customer for compliant
- Visiting site on call & Solving Fault
- Arranging service team for site work
- Minimum of 4 years’ of technical experience in a switchgear manufacturing plant
- At least Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Excellent knowledge of Reading Single line diagram, Control Diagram and Load scheduled
- Excellent skills in AutoCAD 3D & 2D software
- Excellent Knowledge in IEC- ANSI, NEMA standard
- Knowledge in Spaces selection in the Panel board
- Skills in Selecting suitable enclosure sizes
- Good knowledge in components ABB, Siemens, Schneider, Eton Etc.
- Good Knowledge in Design selection
- Skills in Selecting Control components and accessories.
- Good Knowledge in control circuits
- Good knowledge in component sizing
- Good Knowledge in Short-circuit selection & curves
- Candidates with experience using Doble RTS, Omicron or similar RTS.
