Quality Control Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and execute activities and work required by a job-relevant process to ensure that it is carried out in an efficient and effective manner, in line with the monthly and annual departmental business plans, policies and procedures
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of departmental systems, policies, processes and practices considering ‘international leading practices’ to improve productivity and operational efficiency
• Provide critical input to support the development of Department’s systems, policies, processes, and procedures to meet business requirements
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security and environmental procedures and controls across the Department to guarantee employee safety and delivery of high-quality services
• Performs sampling and testing of raw materials and undertakes operations necessary for quality testing within quality control
• Prepares quality reports, including analytical reports (for raw materials and finished products), certificates of analysis (CoA) (for finished products), and stability reports
• Analyzes the method of development and method of validation test protocols for finished products and generates the appropriate analytical methods
• Reviews existing analytical specifications to ensure that standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed
• Responsible for calibrating, validating, or maintaining laboratory equipment and devices before usage
• Responsible for the compilation of laboratory test data to perform appropriate analyses

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, pharma, or related sciences
• Fresh Graduate or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in a relevant industry

Preferred:

• Master's degree in related field.

Language:

English -Proficient.

Arabic – Working knowledge.
