Quality Control Inspector

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet established quality standards before they are released to customers. You will conduct thorough inspections and tests throughout the production process to identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and work closely with other team members to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Perform measurements, tests, and evaluations using precision tools and equipment to verify product dimensions, tolerances, and performance characteristics
• Document inspection results, deviations, and non-conformities accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate with production personnel, engineers, and supervisors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to identify the underlying causes of quality problems and prevent recurrence
• Monitor and maintain calibration of inspection equipment and instruments
• Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements
• Provide training and guidance to production workers on quality control procedures and best practices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in quality control or a related field is preferred
• Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, practices, and methodologies
• Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
