Based in Riyadh and reporting directly into the QHSE Manager MEA, the job holder must ensure effective coordination and implementation of dormakaba Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) policies, practices, and standards throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain in addition to safeguard the service and installation site compliance with internal and external QHSE regulations and authorities.

Based in Riyadh and reporting directly into the QHSE Manager MEA, the job holder must ensure effective coordination and implementation of dormakaba Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) policies, practices, and standards throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain in addition to safeguard the service and installation site compliance with internal and external QHSE regulations and authorities.
What You Can Expect
QHSE
- Ensure that all Company QHSE policies and practices are proactively implemented and supported.
- Identify and assess QHSE risk hazards and develop control practices, corrective and preventive measures in line with Regional QHSE guidelines. Ensure that Risk Register is in place, filled, updated, and reviewed.
- Report and log all QHSE incidents on time and ensure that post-incident investigation is conducted with corrective and preventive measures in place.
- Liaise and coordinate with external parties on all requirements and issues related to QHSE.
- Manage legal compliance process and ensure that all QHSE applicable regulations are properly addressed.
- Assist in reviewing and assessing new projects/modifications for evaluation of QHSE impact.
- Prepare monthly QHSE reports for the Regional QHSE Manager and ensure data are complete and accurate.
- Develop and implement the QHSE plan, ensuring adherence to industry standards, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Draft/update generic QHSE documents for the country (i.e., Procedures, process maps and forms)
- Assist Regional QHSE Manager in the development and implementation of local QHSE communication and awareness campaigns.
- Develop, conduct, and evaluate training for staff on QHSE.
- Conduct daily safety checks and report immediately on unsafe observations, near misses and potentially risky practices and non-conformances.
- Execute regular site visits, QHSE Audits and site inspections (upon project requirements)
- Evaluate and Assess installation works to ensue dormakaba quality and safety standards are met.
- Assist Service Department in the analysis and execution of work e.g., quality checks.
- Check and validate service and installation data.
- Coordinate and conduct field assessments on quality and H&S practices in service and installation sites, report on and take corrective measures when required.
- Developing sustainability initiatives, planning, implementing, monitoring, and reporting
- Follow up on customer complaints and quality non-conformities to ensure timely, efficient and effective close out to ensure nonoccurrence.
- Ensure customer surveys are conducted (via phone, e-mail, online surveys etc.) and analyzed to measure customer satisfaction.
- Lead, manage, and coordinate day-to-day activities on-site to ensure project goals and milestones are achieved.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor progress and adjust as needed to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders regarding project status and risks.
- Maintain accurate records of all project-related activities, inspections, permits, and approvals.
- Prepare regular progress reports for management and stakeholders.
- Document non-conformance issues and corrective actions taken.
- Manage and supervise site personnel, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project objectives and QHSE policies.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma related to Industrial Management, Quality Management, Environment, Health, and Safety.
- Certification in NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safety is a plus.
- Knowledge about ISO standards (i.e., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001) is an advantage.
- Project management skills, document management system/ document controlling, and strong organizational abilities is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of QHSE within Saudi Arabia or GCC
- Excellent command of both Arabic and English languages
- Good knowledge of IT and computer systems
- Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a challenging, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
- Able to travel frequently across the Kingdom.
- Team-player but capable of working with limited supervision.
