About The Role
We are looking for an experienced QC Engineer with 5+ years of experience in quality control for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Saudi Aramco QC requirements and have prior experience working as a QC Engineer on Saudi Aramco projects. The candidate should be Aramco-approved and capable of supervising on-site QC activities, ensuring all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced QC Engineer with 5+ years of experience in quality control for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Saudi Aramco QC requirements and have prior experience working as a QC Engineer on Saudi Aramco projects. The candidate should be Aramco-approved and capable of supervising on-site QC activities, ensuring all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all on-site quality control activities, ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco’s QC standards and project specifications.
- Oversee the inspection and testing of materials, equipment, and construction activities to ensure they meet project and industry quality standards.
- Maintain accurate QC documentation, including test reports, inspection records, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Identify and document non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and follow up to ensure they are resolved.
- Conduct inspections of materials and equipment from vendors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address quality issues and implement solutions.
- Assist in internal and external quality audits, ensuring all QC procedures and records are compliant with Saudi Aramco and industry regulations.
- Supervise and mentor on-site QC staff, ensuring all quality control activities are performed according to project standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the project’s overall quality performance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline).
- 5+ years of experience in quality control, particularly within EPC projects.
- Proven experience in quality control for EPC projects, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
- Experience working on Saudi Aramco projects, with a thorough understanding of their QC requirements.
- A demonstrated ability to supervise on-site QC activities and collaborate with project teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco QC standards and procedures.
- Certification in quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent) is preferred.
- Quality Control Management: Expertise in managing quality control processes and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Inspection & Testing: Strong knowledge of inspection and testing procedures for EPC projects, including materials, equipment, and construction activities.
- Non-Conformance Management: Proficient in identifying, documenting, and resolving non-conformances and quality issues.
- Documentation: Experience in maintaining detailed QC documentation and records, including inspection reports and NCRs.
