Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control Supervision:
  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day QA/QC activities on-site for Aramco-related projects, ensuring all work, materials, and processes comply with Aramco specifications, industry standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to monitor the quality of work, including material handling, construction practices, and workmanship.
  • Review and interpret project specifications and requirements, ensuring compliance with Aramco’s quality standards.
  • Organize, plan, and oversee testing and inspection activities for materials, equipment, and construction processes to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
  • Ensure that all inspections are documented accurately and in accordance with Aramco’s quality procedures.
  • Work with third-party agencies for specific material or system testing when required by Aramco specifications.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformities or defects in construction, materials, or processes, ensuring corrective actions are taken immediately.
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations of non-conformances and ensure that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Monitor the closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure all issues are resolved in line with Aramco’s quality standards.
  • Maintain and manage comprehensive quality documentation, including inspection and test records, certifications, test results, and NCR logs.
  • Prepare and submit detailed QA/QC reports to the QA/QC Manager and Project Manager, highlighting progress, quality issues, and corrective actions taken.
  • Ensure all necessary quality records and reports are submitted to Aramco for approval as required by their quality management systems.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters between the project team, Aramco representatives, and subcontractors.
  • Attend regular meetings with Aramco to discuss quality performance, resolve quality-related issues, and provide updates on QA/QC activities.
  • Ensure that all quality-related communications are timely, clear, and properly documented, in accordance with Aramco’s procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor QA/QC inspectors, providing them with guidance and support in their roles and ensuring they understand Aramco’s quality requirements.
  • Organize and participate in regular quality training sessions to ensure the project team is up-to-date with Aramco’s quality standards, regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement among the site team, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Aramco's quality management systems and ensure that all activities comply with the applicable Aramco codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., Aramco Engineering Standards, ARAMCO Material Specifications).

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in QA/QC supervision, with a strong focus on Aramco projects or similar large-scale industrial projects.
  • Proven experience in managing quality control on-site, including the inspection of materials, welding, coatings, concrete, and structural components as per Aramco standards.
  • Familiarity with Aramco’s Engineering Standards, ARAMCO Material Specifications, and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of international quality standards (ISO 9001) and industry codes (ASTM, ASME, etc.).
  • Familiarity with construction management and quality management software.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT), material testing, and inspection techniques.
