Public Relations Officer KSA (PRO)
KSA, Riyadh
Job Description
To act as the key liaison between the organization and various government authorities, ensuring smooth processing of all regulatory, immigration, and compliance-related tasks. The role supports the organization in navigating government procedures, maintaining compliance with local regulations, and managing the legal documentation required for employees and expatriates in Saudi Arabia.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Employee Immigration & Visa Services:
- Handle the complete process of work visas, Iqama, and related documentation.
- Track renewals and ensure submission of necessary documentation in a timely manner.
- Monitor Saudization quota compliance, ensuring adherence to nationalization requirements.
- Serve as the primary user for government platforms such as QIWA, Muqeem, and GOSI.
- Government Relations Officer (GRO) Duties:
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key government authorities and institutions.
- Advise internal teams on government procedures and assist with obtaining necessary permits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve government-related issues or concerns that arise in the business.
- Government Liaison & Documentation:
- Establish and maintain working relationships with government bodies such as the Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Interior, and SAGIA.
- Manage and process necessary visas, work permits, residency applications, and other documentation for employees and expatriates.
- Ensure that all required documents are submitted on time and that government approvals are obtained efficiently.
- Compliance & Regulatory Management:
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabia's labor, immigration, and business laws.
- Monitor regulatory changes and communicate any required adjustments to internal teams.
- Provide support in ensuring the company adheres to licensing and operational requirements imposed by the government.
- Implement and execute programs and policies to meet business needs
- Implement and execute Administration & Secretarial processes and policies through ongoing support and solutions related to documentation, mail, routine reports, travel, appointments, operating office equipment and general enquiry.
- Participate in driving transformation and change of practices to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Serve as the main point of contact for government agencies and other relevant stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and advice on navigating government procedures, obtaining permits, and managing government approvals.
- Assist in resolving any government-related issues or challenges that may arise for the organization.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Saudi National
- 2 - 5 years pf experience
- Proven experience as a Public Relations Officer (PRO) or Government Relations Officer in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi labor laws, immigration laws, and business licensing requirements.
- Familiarity with government platforms such as QIWA, Muqeem, and GOSI.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with government officials and agencies.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience in managing employee visa, Iqama, and work permit processing.
