PSG Engineer

Short Description (Role Purpose)

To install, maintain and repair Xerox PSG and multifunction office printers, copiers and scanners products, with high optimum level, cost effectiveness, & with minimum down time as possible.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

• Assist in customer education in operating the machine correctly, replacing consumables, getting the meter read, & how to place a service call.
• Guid and develop the PSG Operators skills for Graphic Printing and production Printing
• Focus and arrangement to have reliability of continuous operation of PSG Printers with minimum possible breakdowns.
• Generate sales leads.
• Generate contract leads.
• Always comply with the communication directions from the work controller .
• Close the breakdown service calls and to achieve target response time.
• Reports all the service documents in a timely and with accurate data.
• Achieve optimum satisfaction for quality of Graphic Printing and production Printing for PSG Customers
• Demonstrate the correct procedure to reach SXL service and related work area.
• Good training (do’s & don’ts) for Xerox Product Operation and functions to achieve best quality prints
• Assist other engineers as and when needed or directed by Manager or Work Controller.
• To display total commitment and achieve total customer satisfaction of the highest level in a professional manner.
• To totally understand customer needs and Graphic Printing and production Printing requirements and accordingly provide quality service, solutions, and assistance .
  
  

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical or Mechatronics or equivalent.

Required Years Of Experience

Office automation background & equivalent experience of at least 2 years in similar field.
