Protection and Automation Design Engineer

Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented!

• Study the project technical documents and specifications and prepare drawings for Substation Automation System and Protection system for Grid & BSP Substation.
• Preparation of Base Design drawings and documents for approval.
• Preparation of Detail Design drawings and documents for customer’s approval.
• Preparation of Manufacturing drawings and the required documentations needed to start fabrication at the company factory.
• Preparation of bill of materials including hardware & software.
• Support project managers for technical clarifications & meetings with customers.
• Support proposal team for technical clarifications.
  
  

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid!

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical substation field.
• Good knowledge in Automation systems and their protocols such as IEC61850/IEC101/IEC104/DNP3, etc.…
• Experience in system architecture designing using the required software, AutoCAD, Elecdes and MicroStation and VISIO.
• Knowledge of Siemens Substation Automation System is plus.
• Experience in protection systems & standards of Saudi Arabia is required.
• Sufficient knowledge of selecting required protection relays is preferred.
• Experience in L2/L3 devices and Industrial PCs used in SAS.
• Fluent in English language.
