Key Responsibilities
Proposal Development: Lead the preparation of high-quality technical and commercial proposals for large-scale construction projects.
Bid Management: Coordinate tender processes from initial review to final submission, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
Cost Estimation: Collaborate with engineering teams to develop accurate cost estimates and BOQs.
Technical Writing: Craft compelling proposal content, including methodologies, schedules, and value propositions.
Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, legal, finance) to gather proposal inputs.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and propose mitigation strategies in proposals.
Software Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project, and Adobe InDesign for proposal graphics and scheduling.
Market Research: Analyze competitor proposals and industry trends to enhance bid competitiveness.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in proposal engineering/bid management for mega construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, cost estimation, and contract terms (FIDIC preferred).
Expertise in proposal software (Adobe InDesign, MS Office) and project tools (Primavera, AutoCAD).
Exceptional technical writing, editing, and presentation skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines with meticulous attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
