Job Purpose:
The Project Engineer at CCMC drives the successful completion of various CAPEX and OPEX projects, leading and managing them from initiation to closure. This role involves comprehensive planning, diligent monitoring and supervision, proactive controlling, and effective project closure, all while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality. Additionally, the Project Engineer leads process improvement projects, applying Lean manufacturing methodologies to achieve sustainable and measurable improvements in safety, efficiency, waste reduction, quality, and overall operational performance.
Description:
Capex Projects
Coordinate with all CCMC functions to define the CAPEX project(s) scope, objectives, and with external vendors to define CAPEX projects budgets, plans, timelines, and required resources
Project Planning and Initiation
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
Project Execution, Management, and Closure
- Lead and coordinate contractors/ subcontractors along with internal resources, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and take necessary corrective actions
- Ensure all project deliverables are completed and accepted by all relevant stakeholders

Continuous Improvement Projects
- Coordinate with all CCMC functions to define the Continuous Improvement project(s) scope, objectives, and define project budgets (OPEX), plans, timelines, and required resources
- Identify, plan, and execute continuous improvement projects that address key performance indicators (KPIs) such as efficiency, capacity, quality, and cost
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools to analyze processes and drive improvements
- Collect, analyze, and interpret production and quality data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement by applying problem-solving techniques (e.g., Root Cause Analysis)
- Work closely with production, engineering, quality, and other departments to implement changes and ensure attentiveness
- Integrate continuous improvement efforts with plant safety and quality initiatives
Qualification
Bachelor's Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical)
Experience
3+ Years
Personal Skills
Fluency in English & Arabic is essential
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Professional Skills
Good awareness of Lean Manufacturing tools
Knowledge of safety and quality management systems
