We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage projects within the contracting, construction, or hospitality sectors for a 16-month engagement. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires exceptional leadership, planning, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee all phases of project execution, from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to define project requirements and expectations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any issues or concerns.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Monitor and address project issues proactively to ensure smooth delivery.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to achieve project objectives.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and financial targets are met.
  • Allocate resources effectively, optimizing team performance and project outcomes.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure project deliverables meet established quality standards and contractual requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance with safety and quality regulations.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and deliver detailed project reports, including status updates, budget performance, and key milestones.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation for future reference and compliance purposes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred.

Experience:

  • 5-12 years of experience managing projects in the contracting, construction, or hospitality sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects of varying complexity on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency is using MS Project.
