WSP are currently seeking talented and experienced Project Managers to oversee site supervision activities for a major roads and highways construction project in Riyadh. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of critical infrastructure in the region and make a lasting impact on the community.

As a Project Manager for site supervision, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution and delivery of a large-scale roads and highways construction project in Riyadh. You will lead a team of engineers and technical experts to oversee all aspects of construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints. Your role will involve close coordination with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure the seamless execution of the project from inception to completion.

Your new role, what's involved?

  • Lead and manage the site supervision team, including engineers, inspectors, and support staff, to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against key milestones and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues, address change orders, and mitigate risks to project schedule and budget.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, presentations, and other project documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and facilitate effective communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and expectations.
  • Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and quality control measures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to enhance project efficiency and profitability.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the company at project meetings, conferences, and industry events to promote our expertise and capabilities in infrastructure development.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management, specifically in site supervision for roads and highways construction projects.
  • Minimum 20 years of professional experience in construction.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus.
  • Fluency in English.
